Reisterstown, MD middleweight Lorenzo Simpson captured a silver medal during competition at the Brandenburg Cup in Frankfurt, Germany.
After winning his semifinal contest on Friday against a boxer from Israel, Simpson dropped a split decision in the 165-Pound championship Saturday to Ivan Papakin of the Ukraine. Boxers from the United States won three gold and two silver medals during the competition.
