Washington Times Columnist Loverro Talks Ali History On New Podcast!

One of the biggest and better-known supporters of this blog has been Washington Times columnist and ESPN 980 contributor Thom Loverro.  Thom has been a major follower of what is going on in the Beltway Boxing area and I have always been grateful for his support and friendship.

Recently, Thom started a new podcast called "Cigars and Curveballs."  Yes, there is a lot of baseball talk as he has had great interviews with the likes of former Baltimore Orioles star Bobby Bonilla, former Washington Nationals General Manager Stan Kasten and current Nationals Manager Dusty Baker.

However, the latest edition of the podcast talks boxing and focuses on the life of Muhammad Ali.  Thom interviews someone who knew the legendary champion as well as anyone -- Ali's longtime friend and business manager, Gene Kilroy.

The podcast can be downloaded for free on ITunes or you can hear it on Thom's Washington Times page by going to this link: http://www.washingtontimes.com/staff/thom-loverro/
