There will be an amateur card coming to Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD on Thursday, August 4. The card will also serve as a tribute to the legendary Muhammad Ali as it has the moniker "Rumble, Young Man, Rumble."
In an East Coast Light Heavyweight battle, Tyrell Boyd of Baltimore, MD will take on Genc Pllana of Hagerstown, MD. Also on the card, Joey Veazey of Pasadena, MD will battle Nigel Fennell of Salisbury, MD in what may be the final amateur bout for both men.
In another contest, Windsor Mill, MD's Stefon McCray will be in a heavyweight contest against TJ Mottinger of Salisbury, MD. McCray comes fresh off of winning a Ringside World Championship last week in Independence, MO. Mottinger took the Novice Division Regional championship at the Golden Gloves earlier this year in Fort Washington, MD.
