Baltimore, MD cruiserweight "Slick" Nick Kisner returns to action on Friday, May 27 at the Claridge Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. Kisner will take on Lamont "Too Smooth" Capers of Hawley, PA in an eight-round contest.
Kisner (16-2-1, six KO's) has won two straight since his May 2015 nationally-televised 10-round unanimous decision loss to Lateef Kayode in Memphis, TN. Kisner is coming off a six-round unanimous decision win over Daniel Shull on April 9 in Springfield, VA. Capers (5-8-2) is winless in his last four bouts (0-2-2). Capers lost a six-round unanimous decision to Josh Himes on April 23 in New Cumberland, WVA.
Capers is 0-4 against Beltway Boxers. Capers lost two six-round unanimous decisions to Travis Reeves and lost four-round unanimous decisions to Shaborn Ryals and Mario Murphy.
Kisner will have an open public workout on Saturday, May 21 at Ivey League MMA. 1517 Ritchie Highway. Arnold, MD. The workout begins at noon.
