Results From Rosecroft!

Here are the results from the King's Promotions card on Friday, December 4 at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, MD:

Forestville, MD super lightweight Mykal "The Professor" Fox remained undefeated with a six-round unanimous decision over Adam "Bad Boy" Mate of Budapest, Hungary.  Fox systematically broke Mate down throughout the contest with a strong right jab and solid left hands to the body and head.  The 6'4" Fox used his height very well and Mate never could overcome the height differential as he went into survival mode by the fourth round.   Fox is now 8-0, two KO's while Mate falls to 17-7, 10 KO's.

In the co-feature, Thomas "KO" Snow of Capitol Heights, MD scored a second-round TKO over Tibor Nadori of Nagykanizsa, Hungary in a bantamweight contest.  After a slow first round, Snow quickly picked up the pace in the second and landed great power shots that ended with a solid left to the body that dropped Nadori to the canvas for the count.  The bout was stopped at 1:43.  Snow 's record rises to 18-2, 12 KO's.  Nadori is 3-3-1, two KO's.

Greenbelt, MD cruiserweight "The Vanilla Gorilla" Sam Crossed made a successful pro debut stopping John Felty of Columbus, OH at 1:14 of the first round.  Crossed dropped Felty with a counter left hand early in the round.  Felty beat the count but Crossed pressured Felty into a neutral corner and landed punches that forced referee Kenny Chevalier to stop the bout.  Felty's record is now 0-4.

Lightweight Chris "The Rock" Warden of Lusby, MD scored a first-round TKO over the debuting Bernardo "Benny" Rodriguez, Jr. of Lakeland, FL.  Warden landed strong combinations to stop Rodriguez at 1:31 of the round.  Warden is now 2-0, two KO's.

In a super welterweight battle, Nicholas Hernandez of Reading, PA stopped Santario "Too Handsome" Martin of Lake City, FL in the second round.  After a first round where both boxers were swinging for the fences and missing badly, Hernandez landed a crushing left hand to Martin's head that sent Martin stumbling across the ring into his own corner.  Martin beat referee Brent Bovell's count but was in no condition to continue.  The bout was stopped at 39 seconds.  Hernandez is now 3-1, one KO while Martin is 1-2.

Undefeated super welterweight Junior Castillo of the Dominican Republic kept his perfect streak going as he needed just 49 seconds to stop Roland Nagy of Budapest, Hungary.  Castillo sent a stunning left hand to Nagy's body that dropped him for the count.  Castillo, a 2012 Dominican Republic Olympian, is now 8-0, eight KO's.  Nagy falls to 4-2, three KO's.
