Beltway Ladies Defend Titles At Ogden Benefit Card November 12 in Cockeysville!

It will be ladies night when two of our Beltway Queens defend titles at the 10th annual Jonathan Ogden Foundation "An Evening Ringside" benefit boxing card on Thursday, November 12 at Martin's Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, MD.

In the main event,"The Bolivian Queen" Jennifer Salinas defends her UBF Super Featherweight title against "Little Miss Tyson" Melissa St. Vil of Brooklyn, NY by way of Haiti in another 10-round encounter.  Salinas (17-3, four KO's) won an eight-round unanimous decision over Jasmine Clarkson in her last outing on June 20 in Woodlawn, MD.  St. Vil (6-1-3) has not fought since the 2014 Jonathan Ogden benefit card when she battled to a six-round draw against Ashleigh Curry on November 6.

The co-feature has Tyrieshia "Lady Tyga" Douglas of Washington, DC defending her Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) Bantamweight title against Nydia "Dha Phenomenal" Feliciano of Bronx, NY in a 10-round encounter.  The bout will be the first for Douglas (9-1, four KO's) since losing a bid for the IBF Flyweight title by 10-round unanimous decision to Leonela Yudica on July 31 in San Juan, Argentina.  Feliciano (8-6-3) broke a two-bout losing streak with a six-round split decision win over Noemi Bosques on March 13 in Tampa, FL.

In other bouts scheduled for the card, Baltimore, MD welterweight Kevin "The Scarecrow" Womack, Jr. continues his very busy 2015 with a six-round contest against undefeated Ed "Bad Boy" Brown of Chicago, IL. Womack (7-9-3, five KO's) competes for the ninth time in 2015 and will be trying to break a four-bout losing streak.  Brown (13-0, 11 KO's) will try to build off of a first-round knockout victory over Reymundo Hernandez on October 9 in Green Bay, WI.

Also, DC lightweight Joshua "Dynamite" Davis returns to action with a four-round bout against Justin Lopez of Grandville, MI.  Davis (9-1, four KO's) last fought on March 20 and won a six-round unanimous decision over Helario Medina on March 20 in Woodlawn, MD.  Lopez (5-3, five KO's) has lost three in a row.

The Jonathan Ogden Foundation, named after the Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens, raises money to assist young people in disadvantaged communities to develop self-esteem through athletics and education.
