Fox Steps On Scales in Cabazon; Harrison, McCalla, Odom Do The Same in New York!

Beltway Boxers hit the scales in two locations today for bouts tomorrow night.

Alantez Fox (right) weighed in at 155 pounds for his eight-round contest against fellow undefeated Patrick Day, who weighed at the junior middleweight limit of 154.  The bout will be on the ShoBox telecast that will begin at 11 PM ET.  By the way, this is a free weekend for Showtime, which means that you can watch the card even if you are not a Showtime subscriber.



Meanwhile in New York City, Dusty Hernandez Harrison (left) tipped the scales at 145 pounds for his 10-round contest against Tommy Rainone for the vacant WBC Continental Americas welterweight championship.  Rainone weighed in at 147 pounds.  The bout will be the main event of the Fox Sports 1 telecast beginning at 10 PM ET.

Cecil McCalla weighed in heavy (150 pounds) for his contest against Chris Van Heerden (145 pounds). The contest is for the vacant WBC International Welterweight title.  However, there is no official word on whether McCalla can still win the title.

Jerry Odom tipped the scales at 168 pounds for his contest against fellow undefeated boxer Andrew Hernandez, who weighed 169.
