Full Card Ready for November 13 at Royal Farms Arena!

The boxing card on Thursday, November 13 at the Royal Farms Arena (formerly the Baltimore Arena) in Baltimore, MD is just about complete.  The promoters are newbies in town -- Shawstyle Promotions.

As BATB reported earlier, the main event will be a 10-round contest for the vacant WIBA Super Flyweight championship as Baltimore's Tyrieshia "Lady Tiga" Douglas (7-0, three KO's) will battle Christina Ruiz of San Antonio, TX (7-6-3, four KO's).

One of the co-feature bouts will include Baltimore welterweight James "Keep 'Em Sleepin'" Stevenson taking on "Lightning" Larry Darnell Ventus of Detroit, MI in a six-round contest.  This will be the first bout for Stevenson (21-1, 14 KO's) since his ninth-round TKO loss to Sammy Vasquez on August 8 in Pittsburgh, PA.  Ventus (6-7-1, three KO's) will try to break a three-bout losing streak.

The other co-feature involves two out-of-town veterans -- "Prince" Said Ouali of Las Vegas, NV and Francisco "Gato" Figueroa of the Bronx, NY -- in an eight-round encounter.  Ouali (29-5, 21 KO's) will try to bounce back from a six-round unanimous decision loss to Grady Brewer on September 27 in Oklahoma City, OK. Figueroa (20-7-1, 13 KO's) has lost his last four contests to solid contenders Alex Perez, Breidis Prescott, Thomas Dulorme and Erick Bone.

In other bouts on the card, undefeated rookie Hyattsville, MD lightweight Patrick Harris will battle with Anthony Hill of Oklahoma City, OK in a four-round bout.  Harris (3-0, two KO's) won a four-round majority decision over Jeffrey Ramos on October 24 in Fort Washington, MD.  Hill (1-2) lost a four-round unanimous decision to Justin Pauldo on October 24 in Kissimmee, FL.

Debuting DC cruiserweight Kwame Ritter will take on Devon Mosley of Capitol Heights, MD (0-1-1) in a four-round contest. Ritter was a very active amateur at 152 pounds in 2008 and 2009.  Mosley is coming off a first-round TKO loss to Mario Flores on August 23 at the Patapsco Arena in Baltimore.

Baltimore welterweight Stephon McDonald will face Sidney McCow of New York City in a four-rounder.  McDonald won a four-round majority decision over James Gooding on July 18 in Fort Washington. McCow (0-1) lost his pro debut to Jerome Conquest on September 16 in Philadelphia, PA.

The card will mark the pro debut of highly-touted Baltimore welterweight Malik Hawkins who will take on Chris Porter of Missouri.  Hawkins was a member of the 2014 DC Region Golden Gloves squad at 152 pounds.  Porter (0-1-1) is coming off a four-round majority draw with Shelby Graham on April 25 in St. Ann, MO.

Two undefeated (2-0, one KO) boxers will square off in a six-round contest.  Ivan "The Volk" Golub of Brooklyn, NY by way of the Ukraine takes on Tyson Harrison of Greensboro, NC.  Golub scored a first-round TKO over Kirk Huff on October 15 in New York City.  Harrison stopped Chorles Parker in the second round on June 7 in Greensboro.

Also, Ivan Baranchyk of Brooklyn, NY by way of Belarus makes his pro debut against Christopher Haney of Glendale Heights, IL (0-1).
