A. Douglas Wins At Fight Night!

Thursday night was a good night for the Douglas family.  Just before Tyrieshia Douglas captured the WIBA Bantamweight title in Baltimore, brother Antoine "Action" Douglas was victorious at the Fight Night charity boxing card at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC.

Douglas, a middleweight from Burke, VA, defeated Don Mouton of Houston, TX by six-round unanimous decision winning by shutout (60-54) on all three scorecards.  Douglas remains undefeated with a record of 16-0-1, 10 KO's while Mouton drops to 14-9-1, 12 KO's.

There were two title bouts on this card.  Undefeated Carlos Cuadras of Mexico successfully defended his WBC Super Flyweight title with a sixth-round TKO of Marvin Mabait of the Philippines.  Cuadras is now 31-0-1, 25 KO's) while Mabait is 19-3-2, 13 KO's.

Also, Ava Knight of Chico, CA captured the vacant WBC International Flyweight title with a 10-round unanimous decision over Guadalupe Martinez of Mexico.  Knight won by shutout on all three cards, 100-90.  Knight is now 13-2-3, five KO's while Martinez falls to 7-8, three KO's.
