In what was a somewhat awkward bout, Travis Reeves won a six-round unanimous decision over Lamont Capers. Reeves was the definitive aggressor moving Capers backward throughout the contest.
Capers tried to get an offense going but couldn't keep Reeves off of him. Reeves won by scores of 60-54 (twice) and 58-56. Reeves is now 5-2-2, two KO's. Capers drops to 4-4.
Co-feature in the ring. The rematch between Willie "For Real" Williams and Frankie "The Freight Train" Fillipone. Eight rounds.
