A.Douglas Makes ShoBox Debut January 17; E.Taylor's ESPN2 Appearance Pushed Up One Week!

Undefeated Burke, VA middleweight Antoine "Action" Douglas will make his ShoBox debut on Friday, January 17 at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN.  Douglas (11-0, seven KO's) will face fellow undefeated boxer Marquis Davis of Tampa, FL (8-0,2, five KO's) in an eight-round contest.  This will be the first eight-round contest for both men.

This means Beltway Boxers will be on Showtime on back-to-back weekends as Lamont Peterson will headline the card from the DC Armory on Saturday, January 25.

Also, "The King's Son" Jerry Odom will be on the non-televised undercard of the January 17 show in Memphis in a six-round contest against an opponent to be announced.

Meanwhile, the ESPN2 appearance for Baltimore's Emmanuel "Transformer" Taylor has been moved up a week to Valentine's Day -- Friday, February 14 at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, NY.  The opponent will still be Chris Algieri of Huntington, NY.
