Alexandria, VA featherweight Jerren "Hardknocks" Cochran wins a four- round unanimous decision over Chris Lopez of Arizona tonight at the LA Sports Arena in Los Angeles.
Cochran avoided the pressure put on by Lopez and kept control throughout the bout. Judges gave the bout to Cochran by scores of 40-36 and 39-37 (twice). Cochran remains undefeated at 7-0, three KO's. Lopez loses his first bout and falls to 5-1, two KO's.

Cochran is not from here. He was born and raised in Texas. He's no longer with ABC gym. He's not a beltway boxer.
