Locals Go Four-For-Four On Second Day of National Golden Gloves!

Beltway amateurs won four bouts in four attempts on the second day of competition at the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Mesquite, NV.

Gary Antonio Russell of Capitol Heights, MD won his first bout in the 123-pound division defeating Abraham Nova of Buffalo, NY by decision.

DC 152-pounder and 2010 National Golden Gloves champion David Grayton also advanced with a decision victory over Tyrone James of Omaha, NB.

Jerry Odom of Bowie, MD won his first-round bout in the 178-pound bracket by decision over Ronald Mixon of California.

Also, Danny Kelly of DC moved into the second round of the 201+ pound division with a win over Ryin Douglas Reed of Toledo, OH.

Kendo Castaneda from Texas Stopped Gary Antonio Russell wich is most likely a huge upset in most everyones eyes, for Russell has been on fire throughout the GG Tournament.
