Baltimore lightweight Tyrell "Da Show Shock'A" Samuel returns to action this Friday, May 18 when he faces Rockin' Ryan Belasco of Wilmington, DE in what should be an interesting six-round contest at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, DE.
Samuel (14-4-1, six KO's) has not fought since battling to a six-round draw with Ron Boyd on May 28, 2010 in Norfolk, VA. Samuel is winless in his last two bouts. In another Norfolk, VA bout Samuel lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Dorin Spivey in April of 2010. Belasco (16-5-3, three KO's) makes his first appearance in 2012 after winning a four-round unanimous decision over Damon Antoine on December 2 at Dover Downs. Belasco hasn't done well against Beltway Boxers, having lost eight-round decisions to Dean White and Andrew Farmer in 2009.
