Salisbury, MD middleweight Fernando Guerrero returns to action on Friday, April 20 in a 10-round contest against "The Irish Ghost" Chris Fitzpatrick of Cleveland, OH at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, MS. Guerrero (23-1, 18 KO's) has won two straight since his June 2011 loss to Grady Brewer. Guerrero is coming off a fourth-round TKO over Jason Naugler on February 18 in Cancun, Mexico.
Fitzpatrick (15-1, six KO's) bounced back from suffering his first pro loss -- a 10-round unanimous decision to Jose Medina in October 2011 by scoring a sixth-round TKO over Ken Dunham on February 4 in Chapin, SC. One of Fitzpatrick's wins was a 10-round majority decision over Scott Sigmon on July 16 in Greensboro, NC.
The bout will be on the undercard of Jermain Taylor-Caleb Truax and the bout between Erislandy Lara and Ronald Hearns.
