Some of the Beltway's best prospects will be showcased on an United Boxers card on Thursday, February 23 in a brand new Beltway location -- The Dubai Nightclub located on 200 East Redwood in Baltimore, near the Inner Harbor. The starting time is 7:30 PM.
No matchups have been signed yet but the card is scheduled to feature the likes of Baltimore based welterweight James “Keep Em Sleepin” Stevenson, (15-0, 10KO’s), junior middleweight Cecil McCalla
(13-0, five KO’s) of Randallstown, MD, Edgewood Arsenal junior welterweight Emmanuel “The Tranzformer” Taylor, (14-1, 10 KO’s) and cruiserweight and 2011 BATB Co-Prospect of the Year Venroy "Hardwork" July, (9-0-2, three KO’s) of Suitland, MD.
Also scheduled on this card is Jerren "Hard Knocks" Cochran,(4-0, three KO’s), who is originally from Houston now fighting out of Alexandria, VA, originally from Massachusetts, now fighting out of Baltimore, middleweight Akim Ellis, (2-0, two KO's), Baltimore junior welterweight Kevin Womack, Jr. (2-1, one KO) and lightweight Rolando Chinea, (2-0, two KO’s) of Lancaster, PA.

Thursday night is such a bad night for a fight card. What were these guys thinking?
Ballroom Boxing did about 100 shows on Thursday night. They were far and away the most successful shows in the area for at least ten years.
What is the problem with these comments- asking about the color of the fighters or the day of the week? Just check out the talent that is on this card. It is better than any show in the area except for maybe the HBO show at the Convention Center.
united boxing promotions has the same people on every show, who wants to see the same bs miss matches evey show?

Wow- a whole lot of haters out there! I have put Emanuel Taylor on four times, James Stevenson on twice and Venroy July on twice. Rolando Chinea has been on once. Cochran, McCalla, Ellis and Womack have not been on any of the shows. All four of those guys are undefeated, exciting fighters. The other four guys have one loss between them and are four of the best prospects in the area. And you can count on seeing them again. They are being promoted locally and they will continue to be promoted locally. Soon the best of them will be fighting for significant championship belts locally and promoted from there. It will not be that they have to go out of town to fight for a belt going in as an opponent. United Boxers will fight them here or on other cards that we will be doing around the country and they will continue to win. These guys are not being groomed to be opponents. They train like winners and they are winners. So you are invited to come and watch the best prospects in the area fight on the United Boxers cards. And if you either don't like that the shows will sometimes be on Thursdays or that they keep winning that is your problem. And whether it is against opponents who are helping them develop as fighters or in tough learning fights,they will still be exciting to watch. And if you don't like that then you do not have to come to the shows. Trust me, you will be missing something.
Why dont they make July and Kisner two good fighters that happen to be in the same weight... Let's see who the best cruiserweight in md is!
Nick should be on this card. He is the best fighter within a 1000 miles. He would play with July. He also sells plenty of tickets. Big mistake not getting him on this card.

This show is going to be great. Look at the talent on the card. These are guys you will see on T.V. in due time. The absolute best talent around.

You guys are right talent on this card yes. But why pay $ to see Dmv talent fight flat out bums. Most of these guys are ready to get some rounds. Meaning fight someone with a even record or someone that stands a chance. People like Chris makes boxing look bad and chris is not a good person to deal with when it comes to boxing
When is July gonna finally fight Kisner?? Kisner played with him at the gloves back in 08, and he was only like 16 or 17!!!
Some good fighters on the show for sure. I would love to see some compelling match ups, but we won't at least not now..Thursday night isn't a bad night for fights, but for me to far of a drive.
