Catonsville, MD's "Irish" Glenn Williams lost by third-round TKO to undefeated Justin Jones of Houston, TX last night at the Houston Club in Houston.
Williams's corner threw in the towel during the third to stop the contest. Jones is now 13-0, nine KO's while Williams falls to 7-6-1, five KO's.
George "El Gallo" Armenta of Silver Spring, MD weighed in at 168 1/2 pounds for his matchup tonight at the National Guard Armory in Philadelphia, PA. Armenta's opponent, Charles Hayward, weighed in at 170 pounds.
Both Daniel "The Prophet" Attah and Ramon "Rocky" Martinez tipped the scales at 129 pounds for their WBO Inter-Continental Super Featherweight title bout Saturday in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
