It was not Mr. Pappy Gault! Ray said the culprit has since passed, but the truth is, he was protecting getting sued. I know that for a fact. Odel Leonard knows everything that has happened and has shared this with very few people.

The WBU happens to be a somewhat legitimate MINOR title. I just report the info given to me!

for the most part that is true
but there are those that you have looked out for.

Gary why are you trying to put Lange in the same class as these champions. And yes that's exactly what you are trying to do. So don't tell us you don't play favorites.
Can someone get me a trash can I think I'm going to vomit.

First of all, Lange hasn't won the title yet, so he is not in with that class. It just so happens that he is going for that federation's title. I didn't make up the matchup.

Secondly, I talk about this regional bout the same way I talk about the WBF, IBO and IBC titles that many of our Beltway Boxers have won over the years. They are not major world titles but they are something!

we will win a world title very soon :)

As of August 28th, according to the WBU President Torsten Knille, Jimmy Lange is not fighting for the WBU Light Middleweight Title.

Digital, in the future you should just email the specific organization and ask if the title is on the line before printing it.

This was probably just another rumor/ploy of Johnny Lange trying to gain attention for his cash cow Jimmy.

This will keep all of your hater bloggers from complaining.

Peace

What! Too chicken shit to say the Langes are trying to pull a fast one. Is this fight for the WBU or not? Come on, Jimmy Lange is computer ranked 21 in US according to boxrec. Do you really think this fight is going to help is status or get him a major fight?

Put it all out on the line and cut his ass down like you do everyone else! Oh, I forgot. You work for their commentating crew. Scratch that one.

What a joke!

I just go by the info that is given me. I have not received any word to the contrary on this. The WBU can contact me directly if the info I have is wrong!

It is not the same organization as it once was. Apparently it has split into 2 titles in 2 different regions of the world. One in Germany ran by Torsten Knilkle and Moose something runs the other.

The WBU has not staged a world title in the US for years.

According to Tim Lueckenoff of the Association of Boxing Commissions he does NOT think the WBU is in compliance at this time with regards to their rating criteria as of 8/29/2011.
