Two Beltway females have been involved in the 2011 Pan American Games Box-offs at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO this weekend.
In the 165-Pound championship bout today, Franchon Crews of Baltimore will face Tiffanie Hearn of Louisville, KY. Crews has been a national champion at 154 and 165 pounds. If Crews wins, she will advance to the first Pan American Games qualifier in Cumana, Venezuela, March 25-30.
In yesterday's semifinals, Tyrieshia Douglas of Baltimore lost by a 14-6 score to Christina Cruz of New York City.
