Beltway Amateurs are bringing back five national titles from the National Silver Gloves in Kansas City, MO. This report comes from DC Amateur Boxing:
DC Area boxers were nearly perfect this afternoon at the 2011 National Silver Gloves today winning 5 championship belts by the end of the day's competition: Steven Clark (10/11 110lbs.), Lorenzo Simpson (10/11 95lbs.), Jordan White (12/13 80lbs.), Shaka Williams (12/13 201+lbs.) and Ronnell Jackson(14/15 106lbs.) all won championship belts and are now the #1 boxers in the United States. By all accounts we should have had 6 as Troy Isley(12/13 90lbs.) lost a decision that was highly controversial to say the least.
