Boxing Scene.com's Ryan Burton sat down with Baltimore middleweight Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow to talk about his WBF All-Americas/Maryland State Middleweight title bout against fellow Baltimore-area boxer "Vicious" Julius Kennedy on Friday, September 17 at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD.

Not to give too much of this interview away, but Nicklow says this bout could be the Biggest in Baltimore history. Here's the link:

Vincent Pettway fought for the USBA title in Baltimore in 1993, his final tuneup before fighting for the IBF jr. middleweight title later that year.

Andrew Council/Michael Ward in an ESPN2 card in Pikesville in 1999 in a great local grudge fight.

Another ESPN2 card in Pikesville in 1998 had Zab Judah and David Tua in separate bouts, then Derrell Coley/Willy Wise for the NABF title in the main event.

I researched for 3 minutes and found 3 "bigger" fights.
