Beltway Amateurs Send Four To Golden Glove Semifinals!

Reports are coming in from the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Little Rock, AR that four Beltway Boxers will be in the semifinals this weekend.

We are hearing that the Russell Brothers will both be in the final four of their weight classes. Gary Antonio moved into the 114 pound semis with a 5-0 decision over Aurel Love of Cleveland, OH. Gary Allen advanced in the 141 pound class with a 5-0 decision over Abel Ramos of Eloy, AZ.

At the 152 pound class, David Grayton won his quarterfinal contest with a 4-1 decision over Glendale, AZ's Louis Olivares while D'Mitrius Ballard moved into the semis of the 165 pound division with a 4-1 decision over Wilmont Wood of Rochester, NY.

Jerry Forrest lost his bid for the semi-finals in the 201+ division, falling to Dustin Enriquez of California.
