An interesting match of veterans will take place at the Yesha Center in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, September 26. Bladensburg, MD super middleweight Demetrius Davis will take on Upper Darby, PA's Dhafir "No Fear" Smith in an eight-round co-feature.
Davis (19-15-5, seven KO's) will try to bounce back from a tough ninth-round TKO loss to Cory Cummings for the Maryland State Super Middleweight title on May 29 in Baltimore, MD. Smith (21-19-6, four KO's) scored a victory in his last outing, winning a six-round unanimous decision over William Gill on May 9 in Philadelphia. Smith has fought numerous times in the Beltway area against the likes of Henry Buchanan, James McAlister, Mike Paschall and Henry Mayes.
