Mike "The Persecutor" Paschall weighed in at 173 pounds for his bout against Jesse Brinkley Friday night at the Reno Events Center in Reno, NV. Brinkley came in at 175 pounds.
Apparently, Bayan Jargal, who was originally supposed to be on this card, will not appear. Jargal is now slated to be on the Saturday, July 25th card in Greensboro, NC that features Jimmy Lange in the main event. Jargal (12-0-1, eight KO's) is scheduled to take on veteran Alex Perez of Miami, FL (23-34-4, 18 KO's) in a six-round contest on that card. The 37-year-old Perez started his career in November of 1989 (Perez did not box for four years from 2003-2007). Jargal will be the fourth Beltway Boxer Perez has faced and Perez is still looking for a win, having lost to Lange, Darryll Tyson and Jaime Palma.
