Beltway Amateurs Win Bouts in Wilmington!

Six Beltway amateurs won bouts at the Azalea Festival Tournament in Wilmington, NC over the weekend. Here are the winning results:

70 pounds: Jordon White defeated Talon Coraboho

80 pounds: Greg Ross defeated Trone Mims

114 pounds: Lamont Roach defeated Mekyla Collins

132 pounds: Dusty Harrison defeated Carl Perry

152 pounds: Wally Allen defeated Roger Downs

165 pounds: Dimitrius Ballard defeated William Light

how many dc/md fighters fought in the azalea festival? any tuneups before the regional championships from the dc/md, va or nc teams?

gary, a boxing club called diamonds in the ruff located in suitland maryland had several boxers there and quite a few won also. will try and get names sometime tuesday for you. that club seems to be doing very well and the coaches are extremely qualified. an entire crew of very likable coaches and boxers. keep up the good work...
