As we mentioned on the most recent BATB Post-Fight Wrap-Up Show, undefeated Laurel, MD lightweight Ikem "The Warrior" Orji will be participating on a card on Friday, February 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
Orji (4-0, one KO) will take on fellow undefeated boxer Anthony Flores of Philadelphia, PA (6-0, four KO's) in what will be Orji's first scheduled six-round contest.
We also mentioned that there will be a Beltway Boxer on a card in Hilton Head, SC on Saturday, February 28. I had the right venue but the wrong boxer. Undefeated Laurel, MD heavyweight "The Big Ticket" Dwayne McRae (3-0, three KO's) is scheduled to take on Corey Winfield on Winston-Salem, NC (2-4, two KO's.) Winfield fought on Fight Night 2007 at the Washington Hilton and Towers in DC, losing a six-round majority decision to Wilmer Vasquez.
