Wade To Make Pro Debut In Salisbury February 6; Guerrero's Opponent Now Confirmed!

After a delay, Largo, MD middleweight Dominic Wade will make his pro debut on the Friday, February 6 card at the Wicomico Youth And Civic Center in Salisbury, MD.

Wade was originally slated to make his debut in late December 2008 or early in January but that was put on hold because of illness. Wade's trainer, Barry Hunter informed BATB that Wade is in great shape for this contest. No word yet on who Wade's opponent will be.

This card will be interesting in that it brings together three former amateur middleweight standouts -- Wade, Fernando Guerrero and Shawn Porter -- who battled each other throughout the amateurs for a number of years.

Speaking of Guerrero, his opponent for the co-feature bout on this card will indeed be Gabriel "King" Rosado of Philadelphia, PA (10-2, six KO's). This will be an eight-round contest. Rosado is coming off a nice eight-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated James Moore on June 4 in Brooklyn, NY.
