Victories for Buchanan and Guerrero!

Two of our traveling Beltway Boxers were victories last night on separate cards.

Capitol Heights, MD super middleweight Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanan won by eight-round unanimous decision over veteran Ross "The Boss" Thompson on the undercard of the titanic Israel Vazquez-Rafael Marquez matchup at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Buchanan is now 16-1, 11 KO's while Thompson falls to 26-11-2, 16 KO's.

At the Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino in Tunica, MS, undefeated rookie super middleweight Fernando Guerrero of Fruitland, MD scored a first-round TKO over Anthony Adams. Guerrero forced the referee to deliver numerous standing eight counts during the bout before the ref stopped the bout at 1:30. Guerrero is now 3-0, three KO's and has had two straight first-round stoppages. Adams is now 7-19-1, one KO.
