I wish you the best with the fundraiser, What a noble cause. Sound like a very nice event, and I would love to attend and support it, but I am poorer than a church mouse right now, but to whoever sucessfully bids on the tickets to the see My COWBOY's, I will be glad to go with you if you find yourself without a date!

Just a suggestion....

Can you please advise of these events in advance, or send emails to those of interest in your circle of friends/admirers notifying of such events? It's not like I can look at your site all day to see what's up. You posted your article at 10am about an event at 3pm, and I just saw it at 5:30.

List serv please. Keep us informed via email as well. Thanks.

My mistake. I didn't put the date on the event. It is on Saturday, August 18, so it is posted well in advance of the event.

Sigh...do you know the little girl they are supporting? Do you? I don't, but if I doubted I would go and see her first before accusing like that. If they are wrong go find out and tell us how.

The comment of making money off the little girl is outrageous. Our family is hosting the event and I can vouch that 100% of what is raised goes to the girl. Truth be told, the Lange family is donating many of the auction items. You will not meet a more charitable family than the Langes. Those who make anonymous comments like that are cowards, particularly under these circumstances. The girl's family members are boxing fans. Comments like that are not representative of the boxing community -- a tight-knit group that helps each other out.

Unfortunately that is the reputation of the Langes. Hustlers, thieves, whatever. They try and do good things to soften their images, but everyone knows who and what they really are. Hopefully they raise lots of money for the little girl, but it does not buy them forgiveness for their sins.

"Anonymous" you could not be more wrong. I hope you come to the event. She and her family are fighting tooth and nail to beat the cancer. The kid literally is fighting for her life. She could use your support.

This is so sad, really if there is a young heart and soul at stake. Bottom line, do you care about her? If not, and can't or won't help..please just leave it be.
