Update on March 10 Pikesville Card!

Here is how the Baltimore Pro Boxing "Punches at Pikesville" card is starting to shape up for March 10 at the Pikesville National Guard Armory:

Undefeated Severn, MD middleweight Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow (9-0, three KO's) will take on undefeated Morgantown, WVA's Matt Berkshire (8-0, three KO's).

Baltimore super middleweight Mike "The Persecutor" Paschall (10-0-1, two KO's) will face Ron Boddie of Philadelphia (15-35-4, seven KO's) in a rematch of an August 12 bout in Ocean City, MD. Paschall won the first bout by a six-round majority decision.

In another rematch, "The Golden Greek" Elias Boulabassis (0-0-2) will take on Vincent Robbins (1-2-1, one KO) of South Carolina. The last time these two met was on January 27 in Pikesville. The bout was stopped in the second round because of an accidental headbutt.

Bowie, MD heavyweight Horace "The Reason" Grant (4-1, four KO's) will take on Coatesville, PA's Kevin Hood (4-5). Both men have won their last three bouts.

Randallstown, MD fan favorite "Diamond" Matt Hill (8-29-2, four KO's) will be going up against the debuting Earl "Mouse" Cole.

Gary, which March 10 show will you be at? Are you going to have someone covering the other one? If so do you know who? Thanks!

where does he get these bums/ i have never seen guys with so many losses. doesn't the commission try and keep these guys with losing records off of cards here. i see them fight in the carolinas and in kentucky, but maryland must have been asleep when these fights came up. looks like a bad kim show in virginia. the tickets better be cheap!

Anonymous,
Journeymen with loosing records are the backbone of club boxing.Try putting on a show without them. Most(not all) are competitive and give upstarts good expierence. For instance Matt Hill won both his bouts last year when he wasn't expected to.Obviously you haven't heard of Marion "Jack Hammer" Wilson.

I will be at the Pikesville show. I will try to find somebody to cover the Winchester show. Either way I plan to have results from both shows.

I'll cover it for you! I am going to be there. I can't make the weighin on Friday, but I can get you those stats (sans photos) too.

I am soooo sick of Jake's mismatchmania. He doesn't even pretend to make more than one competitive match a night. The Commission should stop this as it is not good for boxing nor for the health of fighters. There is no reason more competitive bouts can't take place in the area, this card is a joke.

That's what a Promoter do. He look out for his fighters. But I do agree we are tired of Jake with those bums.Mike or Jessie will never be a world champion but they will be a good club fighters

Its not looking out for your fighter when you don't give them competitive bouts, fights they can improve in. He is taking advantage of unskilled fighters not developing boxers.

do you know boxing when is he going to match them up against somebody never. You know why because jake is a business man. You fool. He's just taking the fans money I love it.He's a white Don King (LAUGH)

If Snake is a white Don King does that mean he was a convicted murderer and a thief as well? Murderer no, but thief yes.

Boul is one of the badest boys Maryland has right now, he's the white version of Ricadro Magorga.
